I had purchased this foaming soap dispenser back in May. It was faulty. It stopped working after a week of using it. I sent it back for a replacement and am happy to report the replacement is working perfectly now. Its been about 3 months and no issues. Return and replacement was fast and easy as well.So this is a love hate relationship LOLOL... its great BUT................ if there is any foam left hanging the stupid machine will give you MORE!!!! Tip: blow it off so it doesnt keeeeeeeep giving you more soap. ALSO dont put it next to your dominant arm at the sink on the side or it will detect you and offer you soap on your arm LOLOL I have yelled STOP at this thing soooo many times. So bottom line.. keep it at the back of your sink NOT on the side where it can offer you blessings of soap you dont ask for LMAO. I have used it for a few months now and am very happy, OH another TIP... once the inside straw came off in the soap bottle area and it wasn't working, I almost returned it but then, I popped off the soap container and unscrewed the lid and found the clear straw part laying in the bottle SO put it back on and it works perfectly. I love it now that I figured out to put the machine at the back of the counter. I also use it on my dish sponge since I use a natural soap by Miracle II. Its a green soap that you can use as dish washing at the sink and also on your hands and your body and your hair. Try that soap out also! I use what someone here recommeded about 1 tbsp of soap to 2/3 cup of water or something like that close. The device works well and looks good. I'm impressed that I haven't had any sensor misfires nor has it ever dripped. The pump is very quiet compared to other powered soap dispensers I have used. I can understand why the price is rising: it's a good value.I like that you can easily turn it off using the button on the back. You don't have to worry that you'll accidentally trigger the dispenser while cleaning the counter or sink. We have another dispenser that's impossible to disable without triggering it at least a couple times.I'm slightly disappointed at the amount of soap dispensed. One squirt is just barely enough foamy soap to feel like I'm doing a good job washing my hands. I wish it dispensed just a little more at a time. There are some discrepancies between the product information on this page and the actual product, probably from translation difficulties or confusion between similar models. Most of these are not actual problems, just things you might want to be clear about before selecting this model.* Here it says, "10s breathing light prompts the length of hand washing, giving Full time reminder." I took this to mean that the light would blink or stay lit for 10 seconds as a way to remind you to take enough time to scrub your hands well. The one I received doesn't do that, nor is there any mention of it in the little booklet.* It operates on 3 AA batteries. The top description says 4 AAA, the lower description says 3 AA, and the answer to one of the questions says 2 AA. The correct answer is 3 AA.* It does NOT come with a USB cable, which is fine, since it's powered from regular batteries. But the description says a USB cable is included and elsewhere implies that you can charge it up.* Here it says, "waterproof design." It's true that splashing and drips are unlikely to damage the product, but the manual points out that you should not immerse it nor hold it under running water. It's appropriate for wet locations, but not truly waterproof.I have 4 of these in my home. One in each of my 3 bathrooms, and one in my kitchen. They are all used multiple times a day. I'd suggest buying the premade foaming liquid soap. It works great. I've tried making my own foaming liquid, and it's hit or miss. Not the fault of the dispenser tho. This is great because I hate thinking about all the germs in a soap pump. Something it’s heard trying to figure out the water to soap ratio but I like itEDIT 8/9/21: I fixed the unit that wasn't dispensing soap. The straw that sucks in the soap fell into the soap reservoir, so the unit wasn't able to siphon the soap unless I turned it upside down first. Once I reattached the straw, it works. I wonder how many others have this same issue. Still, the straw shouldn't be able to pop out so easily, which is why I am going to leave my final review at 3 stars.EDIT: 8/2/21: I have to downgrade my previous review to 2 stars. The unit that ONLY blinks red is the only somewhat functioning unit at this point. The other dispenser no longer dispenses soap unless I very specifically turn the unit upside down, then right side up, then click the button to turn it back on (flipping it upside down causes it to turn off). That technique will give me 1 spray of soap (usually). I am looking to replace these dispensers ASAP. Considering I purchased these less than 3 months ago, this was money straight down the toiletI ordered two of the white units a few months ago. Initially, I loved them. The one I put in my kitchen started blinking red after the first week or so, which I blamed on the batteries. I figured I'd let the batteries die completely before changing them since soap was still dispensing from the machine. I put 3 BRAND new batteries into the unit earlier today because I was sick of the red light, and the light is still red. Broken machine. My return window is closed because I waited, so I am bummed out. My other unit works perfectly.
